Interior design business resumes growth as lockdown eases

Gambar
Experienced installations manager Ian Dickinson is the latest new recruit to join Richard Grafton Interiors, in Wetherby. The business is also now being able to celebrate the opening of its new £500,000 showroom in town, as restrictions on non-essential stores are eased. It already has established showrooms in Harrogate and Ilkley, which now have social distancing and hygiene measures in place in compliance with the latest Government guidance. In Wetherby, the interiors, architecture and design business has invested in the complete refurbishment and development of a Georgian building on the High Street to house its latest showroom. The prominent property had fallen into disrepair and the redevelopment was carried out over six months. Dickinson joins Richard Grafton Interiors' Wetherby team, led by Donna Schofield who will manage the 1,700 sq ft showroom. 2021 Nissan Rogue debuts Family Hub interior most advanced safety tech yet

Gambar
Nissan debuted its all-new third-generation Rogue on Monday, and for a number of reasons, it's a really big deal. Nissan is overhauling and consolidating its lineup, transforming into a much smaller beast, while also ambitiously updating and redesigning nearly its entire remaining stable. We're all waiting with bated breath for what will become of the Z-car, but the humble Rogue is Nissan's best-selling model and, outside of the brand, one of the best-selling in its class.  This compact SUV is probably our earliest and best look at how this Nissanaissance will play out, so getting it right is more important than ever.  Chunky new look We think Nissan nailed the Rogue's redesign. The new model is an inch and a h...

Woman claims her home won’t sell because of interior design

Gambar
This house definitely has a unique design. A homeowner in England has been unable to sell her house since listing it in 2014. While the outside of the property appears to be mostly normal looking, the design of the house's interior may be scaring away buyers. Mary Rose Young, 61, painted and designed the interior of her house, which she listed for sale in 2014. (Caters Mercury Press) Mary Rose Young originally bought two cottages in the late 1980s, The Sun reports. The properties had reportedly once been inhabited by squatters and Young was able to purchase them for about $37,700. She says she spent years fixing them up, making the two cottages into one house and has had real estate agents value the house at $500,000. In 2014, Young listed the house, hoping to use the money to open a bed and breakfast nearby. Unfortunately, only one person has viewed the house, and did not end up buying the property. Xbox Series X Vs PlayStation 5: Which Next-Gen Console Has The Better Design?

Gambar
Sony finally revealed the design of the PS5 yesterday during its big game showcase. It's a rather stunning departure from every past PlayStation. It's very space-age, with smooth, rounded edges and lots of curves. It is, in many ways, the antithesis of the Xbox Series X console. The PlayStation 5 has a white exterior that wraps around the rounded black interior like petals or a shell. There are virtually no straight or hard edges. Everything flows. Like the DualSense PS5 gamepad, it looks like a great deal of inspiration was taken from the AstroBots. This is almost a vessel the little guys might travel in through space and time. Here's the trailer for the new AstroBot game for reference: This game comes pre-loaded on every PS5. It's basically a little freebie that shows off what the system and the DualSense controller can do. There are two versions of the PS5 also, with the All Digital version ditching the disc drive in favor of arguably an even sle...
